Motherhood can hold enormous love while also asking more of you than you expected. Your days may revolve around what your children need, what the family needs and what still has to be done.
Somewhere between caring, planning, working, worrying and keeping everyday life moving, your own needs can become easier to postpone. You may love being a mother and still miss parts of yourself that existed beyond motherhood.
Motherhood Without Losing Me offers a supportive space to talk about the person behind the parenting role, without judgement, guilt or an expectation that you should simply be grateful or cope better.
Motherhood Without Losing Me
MOTHERHOOD, IDENTITY & EMOTIONAL WELLBEING
Home / Services / Finding Home Within
When caring for everyone else has left very little room for you.

Caring deeply for your children and making room for yourself can exist together.

You may be showing up for everyone while quietly wondering where you went.
You can be a devoted mother without disappearing inside the role.
Motherhood Without Losing Me is for mothers who want space to care for their own emotional wellbeing while navigating the responsibilities, changes and relationships that come with raising children.

Identity
Explore who you are alongside motherhood and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have become quieter.
Needs & Boundaries
Recognise your emotional and practical needs and explore boundaries that make family life more sustainable.
Guilt & Expectations
Look at expectations about what a “good mother” should be and how guilt may shape the choices you make for yourself.
Balance & Connection
Find realistic ways to create space for rest, relationships, support and things that help you feel more like yourself.
Couples sessions provide additional time for both partners to participate, slow down difficult conversations and work with the relationship together.

Person-Centred
Your experience helps guide the work.
Trauma-Informed
Safety, choice and pacing matter.
Culturally Aware
Your culture, migration experience and identity are part of the conversation.
Practical & Reflective
Reflection can be combined with tools you can use in everyday life.
You are more than what everyone needs from you.
Motherhood does not happen separately from the rest of life. Relationships, culture, migration, work, family expectations, separation, finances and the availability of support can all shape how motherhood feels.
Our conversations create space for your experience without reducing everything to parenting techniques or expecting you to become a different kind of mother.
Depending on what you bring, we may explore identity, emotional overload, guilt, boundaries, relationships, cultural expectations, the mental load and practical ways of creating more room for your own needs. The work is shaped around what feels meaningful and manageable for you.
